The Malta Qualifications Council has been awarded an EU training grant "Activities of EQF National Coordination Points with a view to implement the EQF at national level". The aim of this project is to raise awareness about the Malta Qualifications Framework, as well as developments that have been taking place at both local and European Level.
In this regards it will be holding six Information Seminars which will be spread over 2010 and the beginning of 2011. The first information session was held at the San Gorg Corinthia on the 7th July 2010.
The first Information Seminar targeted High Officials from Public Institutions these included Directors and Human Resorces Managers. Various foreign speakers have been invited to address each session. The first session was addressed by Mr Vincent McBride from the European Training Foundation in Turin, Italy. Dr James Calleja, Chief Executive MQC and Ms Doris Mangion Senior Manager MQC also addressed this session.
Over 60 participants attended this session.
